Orin Swart, born in Roseau, Minnesota. Orin was in the Navy for three and a half years. He joined the Navy on August 15, 1968 and he left on May 16, 1972. Orin enlisted in the Navy with his friend from college. Orin enlisted because he thought he had nothing else to lose and wanted to help represent his country. Orin's military experience taught him that the military makes you more responsible.
