Warroad- Deanne "Nanny" (Foster) Johnson of Warroad, and formerly of Devils Lake, N.D., passed away on Friday, March 22 after a five-year battle with pancreatic cancer. She passed away at home surrounded by family.

Deanne (Nanny) and her twin sister Denise (Nee Nee) were born August 2, 1957, to Donald and Myrtle (Grover) Foster in Warroad. The youngest of twelve children, Nanny was orphaned after her mom died of cancer when she was three, and her dad died of cancer when she was four.
