Major Stormwater Project Valued at $5 million Coming to Roseau

A major project is coming to the west side of the city of Roseau along Highway 89. For many years there have been efforts to address the flooding issues that happen in that area. The city addressed many of the issues after the big flood 20 years ago through a series of drainage ditches, but there have still been problems particularly on the west side of town. This new project is now fully funded at the Federal, State, and local level as of March 26. Roseau is getting a lot of recognition about the project all the way up to Washington, DC.
