At the 5 p.m. deadline this past Tuesday, there were the newcomers and the incumbents, all filing for a chance to represent their constituents for various offices.

For the Roseau School Board, which has three 4-year terms and one 2-year term to fill, Micky Hulst, who was elected to fill the remaining one-year term of Justine Schumacher, has filed for a four-year term.

Tim Bialke, Stephanie Hoy-Johnson, and Thor Didrikson have filed for a four-year term as did incumbent Vonda Danielson.

Beckie Erdmann has filed for the two-year term to replace Keith Markstrom.
