To the Editor,

These are all subjects that have been discussed a lot the last few years, and run together when solutions are sought to cure ailments with any of them. My concern is the direction being taken to address problems with these issues.

I am very concerned because I’m hearing there are more impoundments planned for the upper reaches of the Red River Basin. My grandfather took up a homestead (where I live today) just after the turn of the century in the early 1900’s. It is located in an area that is close to the farthest reaches of the drainage to the Red River. The country here...
