Golfing lads end their season

 


It was a 3rd place finish for the Roseau boys golf team in the Section 8AA golf tourney in Bemidji at the Town and Country Golf Course this past Monday and Tuesday.

"We were 3rd after the first day, which was as good as we hoped for," said head coach Mike Lundbohm.

"Actually, it was very good," he said, noting that they finished in a third-place tie in the two day, 36 hole event.

Detroit Lakes shot a 622 to win it by 7 strokes over the runner-up Crookston Pirates.

"We shot 333 the first day and 334 the second day for a 667," he said, adding that Quinn Tangen led the Rams.

"He shot 79 and 81...
