One of the very first texts I received after the election was from Nick Zagone, a Trump supporter who owns the local bowling alley and an adjoining popular eatery in Roseau.

He's a helluva nice guy. As a result, I've never stolen so much as a fork from his joint during the one or two times I've eaten there.

A week ago Wednesday morning, he texted the following: Bro I hope you're feeling OK after this crazy election. You're more than welcome to come to Legends to meditate from the pain that you're probably enduring. Everything will be just fine.
