Another day to tiptoe through the tulips

Beautiful.

I spent most of Monday morning in Roseau, drifting from place to place, walking part of the time because Kevin Johnson was fixing my car.

How many joints can you walk into and get hugged like Donna Rose did when she spotted my distinctly homely mug in Nelson's Cafe?

They don't do that in a big city unless it's an Italian or a Greek eatery and they think you just got off the boat.

I'll never pass for an Italian.

Or a Greek.

And here I was getting a fantastic hug from Donna, who is a waitress, while her husband, Larry, who works the grill, smiled like I was sort of a nice guy.
