Squatty Potty

Terrific.

It's Sunday afternoon, and I'm sitting in Vicenza, Italy, drinking a cold Belgian beer and marveling at this country with its hedges, steel fences and gates, and cement and stone walls separating almost every yard.

They keep the riffraff out.

Even the driveways have gates that open and close electronically or manually.

And every school building is fenced off.

It's the custom.

If only I knew the language, I could ask some questions.

But that one's of the attractions of visiting a foreign country because you can't understand a word they're saying other than "Ciao" which means...
