I thought they would never end!

But they always do.

I miss the old days when there wasn't all this rancor, and we had likable politicians and electable scamps who misbehaved, took bribes, didn't preach like they were ordained ministers, and occasionally got good and drunk and drove into wading pools with, in at least one case, a stripper hanging onto his neck trying to choke him.

That sure beats a 9 to 5 job!
