Royals sweep Crookston doubleheader

 


What's not to like about winning two on the road as the Roseau Royals defeated the Crookston Reds this past Sunday in Crookston.

In the opener, the Royals led 2-0 after the top of the 2nd inning, but the Reds tied it in the bottom of the 2nd and had to feel pretty good heading into the top of the 3rd.

But that's when the Royals swamped them with 6 runs and never really looked back as Jarad Nelson held the Reds in check through 5 innings and the Royals led, 11-3.

In came Dylan Olsonawski for the Royals, and the Reds dinged him for 2 runs each in the 6th and 7th innings but still came up shor...
