Remembering Ris, a fine and decent man

Larry "Ris" Rislov, who died on Sunday from ALS at age 69, will be remembered as a gentleman, coach, teacher, banker, confidant, friend, and just a wonderful father and husband.
His life wasn't about dying.
It was about living, and he would rather be getting ready for the hunting season about now.
But ALS put a halt to that once he was diagnosed in January 2016.
How well did I know Ris? Well enough to know that he was simply one of the very best.
In late June, I stopped by to see Ris and Karla at their home in Badger, and shortly she had to run an errand.
We sat and shot the bull.
