Hockey Rams split on the road

Last weekend, the Roseau Rams boys hockey team would have called it a perfect weekend if they had swept their two Section 8AA rivals.

It was an imperfect weekend.

On Friday evening at the Essentia Health Sports Center in Brainerd, the Warriors never let up from the drop of the puck to the final whistle.

This was bad news for the hard-luck Rams. Almost magically, they had staved off the persistent Warriors, who poured it on late in the opening period, scoring two quick goals in the remaining 12 seconds.
