Bemidji - Jesse Darrell Haugen, 37, died on Thursday, June 28, 2018 as the result of a tragic motorcycle accident.
Jesse was born September 2, 1980 in Shakopee, the son of Darrell and LaNea (Appel) Haugen. He was raised in Winger; graduating from Win-E-Mac in 1999. He attended the North Dakota School of Science in Wahpeton; receiving his Civil Technician degree. He moved to Chatfield for a short time before moving to Bemidji to work for Freeberg and Grund.
He met Andrea Brateng in 2005, while working in Roseau. They were blessed with their son Kaden on June 26, 2007 and were married...
