Don’t ever raise peacocks,.They will break your heart. Peacocks are another of God’s creatures that you either love or hate. Last summer we had four roosters, four hens and five little ones. The ravens that never used to be seen or heard in the summertime got all five of the chicks. A half dozen big ravens gang up on the hen and she has no chance of defending her babies. If that wasn’t bad enough the ravens spread disease such as bird flu. Our adult birds contacted that and all died but one lonely, lonely hen.
