We looked out the window today and we were surprised to see the flag flying at the top of the flag pole.

It seems there are few days when the flag is not at half-mast.

Under the Dayton Administration, we got used to the flag being lowered again and again and again to honor this or that. We were hoping that under the new, enlightened Walz Administration, the practice of over-using the symbol of flying the flag at half-staff would be curtailed.

But we were wrong. In fact, it seems like the new governor is hell bent on breaking every flag lowering record that Dayton established.
