Roseau’s 2016 Spelling Bee champion was Daisy Johnstun and runner-up was Caden Wurzbacher.

Beautiful You Salon and Spa opened in Roseau on January 11. Carly Sue Bledsoe owned the new salon.

Celebrating their February birthdays at the Four Seasons Center in Roseau were Doris Vatnsdal, Leona Reichelt and Jane Smith.

Roseau Geography Bee champion was Mitchell Green, second place winner was Mason LePard and third place winner was Makena Hedlund.

Vivian Peterson was celebrating her 80th birthday on February 13 at the Badger Community Center.
