Fargo, N.D.- Mae Pearl (Rasmussen) Kjaer died peacefully at Bethany at 42nd in the early morning of June 16, 2021.

Mae was born to Andrew and Stina (Jelderks) Rasmussen on October 4, 1924, in Badger. She was the fifth child and grew up on the family farm near Badger. She attended school there and worked on the family farm. She married Orville Kjaer on December 8, 1940, and they moved to Roseau.

She worked as a cook at Nelson's Cafe as well as at the Roseau Hospital. She then moved to Fargo, N.D., in 1967. She was a cook manager at St. Luke's Hospital in Fargo. She retired in 1985 and then...
