I cried every Sunday when my dad took me to open skating, so I figured basketball would be perfect for me. And as a matter of fact, it was. I loved basketball the second I joined in third grade. I took every chance I had to attend a camp or go shoot at the gym with my friends. We had a large number of girls in my grade play elementary basketball, and our coach was Dawn Bachleitner all the way up. Our team wasn't the greatest, but we had a lot of fun.
