Today we have been thinking about the ministry of serving, and we have celebrated some folks, both adults, teens, and children, who have been quietly moving about the community bringing a regular touch of sunshine and love to some very special people. It is a service which pleases the heart of God.
The ministry of serving. Is it for everyone, or just for those who have the gift of service? Charlie Brown was once observed standing on the top of a small hill, shading his eyes with one hand, and asking: "If we're all here to serve others, what are the others here for?" Good question....
