At 24, Quinn Tangen hasn't fallen too far from the tree.

He scored a hole in one on Friday, September 2, at Oakcrest Golf Course in Roseau.

"I was golfing with my dad, Jason," he said, recalling the moment when a very nice thing happened from the 11th tee.

Father and son were playing 18 holes and were on the back nine.

On the 11th tee, Quinn remarked to his dad, "You know what? I'm going to hit my driver. I'm hitting it pretty good today."

Quinn hit the ball solidly.

"But I thought it was a little low, and I was listening for the ball to bounce off the trees.
