Roseau- Rose Marie (Davidson) Fredrickson was born to Aaron and Daryl (Cole) Davidson on March 14, 1927 in Winner in Beltrami State Forest. The oldest of 10 children, she attended Winner country school thru 5th grade. The family moved near Badger and she attended Stokes country school 6th through 8th grade. She worked at several jobs including Budd Hospital, Encore Café, and Red Owl.

She married Russell J. Dahl on July 7, 1945 in Pencer. They made their home in Falun and in 1964 they moved to Roseau. Rose worked for Langlies Hartz Store for 10 years and sewing in Polaris for 17 years. They als...
