Emma Carlson was spotted at the main headquarters of Northern Resources Cooperative in Roseau.

Shortly, she headed to her small office where the 2023 NDSU graduate was open for any and all questions.

Single or married?

She smiled.

"I'm dating but single."

She hails from Kirkland, Illinois, a rural area.

"I grew up showing dairy cattle. I just had my dairy heifers at home. I also milked for other people."

Her parents are John and Dawn Carlson. On her mother's side, the family farms in rural Beardsley, Minnesota.
