Recently, Roseau County Coordinator Jeff Pelowski highlighted the American Recovery Program Act, ARPA), a federal program which began in 2021.
It's definitely not similar to the game of Monopoly where, when you Pass Go, you don't receive real money.
Guess again!
"It was many billions of dollars distributed around the country to offset some of the economic costs caused by the pandemic," said Mr. Pelowski.
The state of Minnesota got a certain dollar amount and then the state decided how each of the counties, cities, and townships were to be allocated their share of the money.
