County fairs in rural Minnesota are always the biggest draws and, with Roseau as the county seat, we draw the multitudes.

Last weekend, I called Ken Wicklund, RHS Class of 1953, who's 87 and is coming up for his class reunion.

Ken isn't being chauffeured up.

"I'm driving up from Faribault, and it's only 400 miles and about an eight-hour drive."

I asked the location and date of his reunion since I enjoy meeting new people who have lived long, productive, and healthy lives.

He mentioned that the reunion is being held at Shirley Miller's place in Falun.
