Last Saturday night after multiple days of stress and worry, here came a delightful call.

It was Gary Przekwas, perhaps with a buzz on, who earlier that day had come charging into the winner's circle, which means he was in the money at a fishing tournament on Lake of the Woods.

There was laughter in his voice, surely he had a buzz on, and he immediately put a big smile on my face.

He is never dull.

Gary and his partner, Mike Vacura, won $3,200 last Saturday.

Of course, they were edged by Gary's son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Rachel, who took third place honors and raked in $3,800.
