For at least this year, youth prevailed at the Oakcrest match-play golf tournament last weekend in Roseau.

Even the number one seed, Jared Strand, who can do magic with a set of clubs out on the course - and he's certainly no grandpa - couldn't stop the "Kid."

Multiple tournament winner Jim Foss will tell you that golf can be a fickle game.

Mr. Foss bowed out early.

The kid is only 18 and no slouch.
