Possibly, alcohol was the catalyst in a fatal shooting west of Warroad on Monday evening, August 28.
The shooter, David Allen Corneliusen, 63, admitted to authorities following his arrest that he had killed his wife, Mary Corneliusen, 66, during an argument at their residence at 34983 576th Avenue, Warroad, MN.
Law enforcement authorities have not disclosed whether alcohol was a factor.
Frequently, alcohol and anger are a deadly combination.
Corneliusen was booked into the Roseau County Detention Center after midnight on August 29.
