A Perfect Day

I watched a beautiful sunrise over Lake Superior during my drive to Duluth. I was returning the sander we had rented to finish the hardwood floors.

"Darn! I forgot the extension cord." The cord was back at the house, seventy miles away. I wasn't going to let that ruin this day. Besides, Melissa and I would go through Duluth again that night on our way to Iowa. The rental company agreed to let me drop off the cord after hours.
