This weekend the Roseau Peewees were on the road for the Grand Rapids tournament and managed to win 3 of 4 games and take home a 3rd place trophy. Friday night turned out to be the toughest game of the weekend, the boys played a strong Rogers team that came out swinging and caught Roseau a little flat footed. Coach Hayden was optimistic going into this game in perhaps picking up the teams first win of the season. Submitted by Steve Huglen The Rams Girls High School hockey team won the 3rd place trophy in the Mid-Winter Classic tournament in Eden Prairie played December 26th-28th. The Rams beat Shakopee 6-2 in the quarter-final game, lost 4-2 to Eden Prairie in the semi-finals, and then beat Cretin-Derham Hall 4-1 in the 3rd place game. Submitted by Steve Huglen The Roseau Rams JV Girls Hockey team is the consolation champion of the 2019 Mid-Winter Meltdown JV hockey tournament in Eden Prairie. The Rams opened the tournament by losing a close 3-2 game to Shakopee before rebounding to beat Rosemount 4-1 and then Benilde St. Margaret by the same 4-1 score in the consolation championship game.
