Roseau High School juniors Katie Czeh and Brooke Reed didn't have a perfect week in the nation's capital a week ago.
Blame that on Influenza A.
The resort's resident physician made that diagnosis.
Each young lady missed two days of the five-day conference with Brooke sick in bed on Monday and Tuesday while Katie was confined to barracks on Tuesday and Wednesday.
But it couldn't knock them completely out of attending the Team EPIC convention at the Gaylord National Resort in Oxon Hill, Maryland.
EPIC stands for "Empowering Positive Impact for Change" - which is the key component to changing...
