Walk into the Roseau County Courthouse on most Monday mornings and you can spot an occasional smile when someone exits Courtroom One knowing that he or she just got a break.
One thing is for certain.
Don't ever bounce a check paying a fine or a fee as you pass GO, which is the Roseau County Court Administrator's Office.
Inside the outer office is the glass pay window and this past Monday, a young lady stood at the window with considerable cash nearby on the counter.
Had somebody reached for that cash from her side of the glass, she might have judo-chopped his wrist.
