On the second Tuesday of every month at LifeCare Medical Center in Roseau, Connie Borowicz welcomes the gals who share a common bond.
They are a sorority of breast cancer survivors, each with her own personal battles of wins and losses.
Consider Mandy Trangsrud, who was diagnosed in January 2015 and looks great and is a breath of fresh air.
"I felt a lump, had chemo in Fargo, radiation in Bemidji and then a double mastectomy," she said.
The great thing about this support group is they are a team and the unspoken bond is "Never Alone" and "Always a Friend."
