Deer Camp at Friesner's Cabin

November mornings have turned chilly and crisp in the north woods of Minnesota. A pink-orange sunrise reveals a frost covered ground, as an icicle wind blows the last leaves clinging to the branches of birch and poplar trees. Hunters are looking forward to their favorite time of year; deer season.

Clyde Friesner grew up in a family of deer hunters and passed on the hunting tradition to his three sons Shane, Ryan and Travis.
