Biden and Trump prevail in Presidential Primary

On Tuesday evening, President Donald J. Trump received 99.91 percent of the Republican votes cast in Roseau County with just one write-in to deny him a clean sweep.
Mr. Trump received 1,055 votes to easily outdistance the DFL votes cast.
A total of 712 votes were cast in the Democratic field as former Vice President Joseph Biden was the leading vote-getter with 266 votes in Roseau County.
He was followed by U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar, who had ended her presidential bid just the day before, with 142 votes while U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders received 105 votes.
