Breast Cancer Survivor Abby Kocurek Shows Great Resilience

Talk about getting hit with a double whammy. First her mother was dying from cancer and then Abby was diagnosed with breast cancer in July.

At 41, the native of Roosevelt is like the Rock of Gibraltar.

Her mother, Cindy Welin, 61, died from cancer on Friday, October 9.

Abby is doing okay considering the heartache of losing her mother and undergoing treatments herself.
