I am from picture frames and flannel blankets

From Polaris and Lund

From swimming in the big Lake of the Woods

I am from filled ditches and tall trees

I am from the smell of clean leather

I am from going camping all summer to skating all winter

From a small town in Minnesota

I am from rodeoing on hot weekends

From wearing a helmet and trying to get along on a road trip

I am from jumping in cow poop and yelling "frank furter"

I'm from Dixon, Illinois

From pickles in jars to ribs on the grill

I am from hot summer tanning...
