Wilson scores Hole in one at Oakcrest

A week ago Friday afternoon, RHS senior Max Wilson scored an ace on the tenth hole using a pitching wedge.

It was a 150-yard ace.

"He was golfing with me," said his dad, Mark Wilson, delighted that his son had hit his first ever hole-in-one.

But Mark didn't witness it.

"Izaak Olson was Max's witness as I was chatting with another golfer on the putting green," he said, recalling that Izaak and Max returned right away from the tenth green.

"That seemed odd," said Mr. Wilson, noting that Max had a wide grin.

"It was a hole-in-one!"
