Support Your Local Food Shelf With Your Own Abundance

Last weekend, Teresa McDonnell, one of the volunteers at the Roseau Area Food Shelf in Roseau, was pitching a unique suggestion for a way to help others in need.
"We have people coming all the way from Strathcona to Grygla to Roosevelt. We have quite an area even though there are other food shelves in the county," she said, mentioning Greenbush and Warroad.
She added that she couldn't speak to the reasons why they are getting people from those areas.
"Perhaps, it's the working hours or who knows. We do serve a huge area."
The Roseau Area Food Shelf is open on Tuesdays from 2 to 4...
