On Sunday, Mark Wilson, a member of the Roseau Volunteer Fire Department who's in charge of all things related to numbers and finances, pronounced the Saturday evening community fundraiser a great success.
"We want to give a big thank you once again for the support from our Roseau community for their great turnout and financial support for the local fire department."
Mr. Wilson describes their supporters as "the Roseau proper."
"Generally, it's the home place whether you're from the Malung, Wannaska, Salol or Fox area. Your primary activities spot is coming back to Roseau."
