Roseau's newest local entrepreneur, Bo Monsrud, is excited to share his expertise of the automotive industry with the area.

He had a passion for fixing and restoring vehicles from a very young age. He is a self-taught man and his knowledge is remarkable.

Braydn Wensloff and Bo spent countless hours, over the years alongside each other, working on fixing and restoring vehicles.

When it was brought to his attention that Carquest was being placed on the market, he jumped at the opportunity.

"I have always dreamed of owning my own shop," stated Bo.

After several months of planning, Munsy's Garage was open for business, in the former Carquest building.

"They always called me Munsy in high school," said Bo.

So, he felt Munsy's Garage was a fitting name for his new business.

The parts store is currently open for business and the full service shop will open November 28. They will start taking appointments November 21 for repairs.

"We strive to get you the right parts the first time. If we don't have it we'll get it here for you!" explained Bo.

He is thrilled to share his knowledge in the automotive and heavy-duty industry. OEM (original equipment manufacturer) and aftermarket repairs are available.

He explained, "We carry the parts, tools, and accessories you need, as well as offering services like free battery and alternator testing, wiper blade installation and Check Engine Light testing."

Whether you need a torque wrench, water pump or a car battery charger, they are a full automotive parts store and carry everything: oils, wipers, snowplow parts, marine and ATV products, deep cycle batteries and much more.

They also have a great selection of heavy products, hydraulic fluids and brake drums and shoe chambers.
