Driving through Oak Manor Trailer Park two miles east of Roseau, what quickly becomes apparent are the abandoned mobile homes and bumpy muddy roads. Some residents have a lot to say about it. They didn’t want to be named for fear the owner of the park would find out who is complaining.

“Our septic tank backed up and we had sewage in the house for six months before they came to deal with it,” said one elderly resident. “Even then they just put some hay bales over it. We’re trying to find another place to live but it’s too expensive to move so we’re stuck here.”
