I remember the old Roseau courthouse which today is a shopping area. As a kid in the 1980s it was still operating as the courthouse. It was also in those days a shelter in the case of nuclear war. There was one of those yellow and black atomic signs on it. Nuclear shelters and school kids sheltering under desks were a part of those times. It wasn't so much that it would have done much for you in the event of a nuclear war actually happening. It was more that you were actually doing something instead of nothing. Those days seem long gone now.
