Ian Larsen sentenced for felony assault

On Friday, September 2, Ian Lee Larsen, 25, appeared before Judge Donna Dixon in Courtroom One at the Roseau County Courthouse for the assault of Jordan Brateng at Springsteel Resort near Warroad in which Mr. Brateng suffered a fractured skull and eye socket.

Reached earlier this week, Assistant Roseau County Attorney Michael Grover explained how the initial first degree felony assault charge had been dropped to a lower offense.
