On Monday, Tallahassee Slim, residing quite comfortably down in Fort Myers, Florida, where he is the most colorful character, sent an email.
He has always been an interesting chap, who has this booming voice and mostly bald head.
Down in Florida, they are now making plans to run the big Greek for mayor of their gated nursing-home community.
He hails from Thunder Bay, Ontario, which is in Canada, and he sent an email inquiring about my health.
He wanted to know if I have been shot yet and, if so, he would be happy to speak at my funeral.
