Saying goodbye to 'forever a great friend'
August 8, 2020
It's the special ones who touch us, and Brandon Johnson was damn special.
What a character!
He came at life with spunk and made us smile and high five and feel good.
He was a touch of class.
This is no homily.
I'm not up to it.
I wish I could have one more lunch break with him at the City Shop or share a beer with him over at Ollie's Place.
Did I know him well?
Not long enough.
I only know that I wish I could have known him longer.
He was personable, charming, caring, and cool.
God, he was a treasure.
This is a small town, and many of us knew him and know how he died at age 2...
