The 2018 racing season wrapped up Sunday, Sept. 2 at the Greenbush Race Park. It was another beautiful evening and the car count topped the 100 mark for the second night in a row. Michael Greseth grabbed the lead on lap 13 of the Modified feature, and survived a green, white, checkered finish to get his second win in as many nights. Roseau - George passed away at LifeCare Medical Center on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the age of 83. George Ronald Foster was born March 30, 1935 in Roseau, to Clarence and Margaret (Lueck) Foster. Roseau - Lola passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at the age of 90. Lola Joyce Lind was born on the homestead in Hampden, N.D., on May 19, 1928, to Emil and Ella (Willis) Otto. She attended school in Hampden through the 8th grade, and then moved to Roseau County when she was a teenager. Lola married Elvin Lind in 1955 at the Moe Lutheran Church in Roseau. Roseau's JV tennis team hit the ground running in the first three weeks of their season. The girls have already played in a tournament, two triangulars, and a dual match. The JV team has had a lot of success and played against some very good tennis teams.
