by Jeff Olsen When former Roseau resident Chad "Chipper" Beito died in his sleep on Monday, November 1, at age 51 in Fargo, the area lost a colorful character. In the mid-1980s, Chipper served at least one year as the student manager for the Roseau wrestling team. Last week, Terry Gotziaman who, at that point, was the assistant principal and athletic director, remarked that Chad "Chipper" Beito, RHS Class of 1989, could do very interesting things with a set of keys. Opening morning of deer season. Whoopie! This old deerslayer is sitting on the couch. Had four on food plot by house that would have been an easy shot from the front porch. Plans are well underway for the fifth Annual Indoor Christmas Tree Walk, scheduled to open on the evening of November 22. The tree walk will be held at the Roseau County Museum located in the Roseau City Center. Greenbush- Melroy passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at LifeCare Medical Center in Roseau at the age of 90. Melroy Fred Wiskow, son of Marshall and Viona (Paulsen) Wiskow was born on August 22, 1931 at home in rural Strathcona.
